It's been a really long time since I have had a chance to tell mommy to update this (we are sorry!). We have been so busy with puppyhood that we forgot to stop playing long enought to update. Let me try to rack my puppy brain and remember what has happened over the last 3 weeks.
THE PUPPY DOCTOR - VISIT 1 MAY 1, 2007
This visit was a special. Mommy and daddy were concerned about my feet and wanted the vet to take a look at me because they were concerned about how I drag my feet when we go for walks and it causes them to bleed. Not a comortable thing; but I like walks so I don't complain. The doggy doctor knew right away what she thought it was and wanted to watch me walk outside. So we went for a short walk on the strip mall. I had to pee pee so I did it right out front of a shop's door (WHOOPS!) When we went back into the doctor's office I got lots of x-rays. The doctor felt that I have hemi-vertibrae. Here is the technical version of what it means: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congenital_vertebral_anomaly.
My version is that my back is messed up! My doctor says that the vertibrae are all smooshed up together instead of having spacing between them. I really like her though.. she knows it too - cuz I show her my rocket. She thinks I am funny like that and teases me. All the girls at the doctor say I have such a personality - Mr Personality that's me! Oh and I wieghed 19 lbs this trip.
Ok.. mommy says it is time to go get ready for hangtown motocross racing - YAHOO!!! I will help her add more later.

Big Boy (in many ways)
My doggie doctor appointment went well. I now weight 17.9 lbs.! Got my last Parvo shot; need to go back in 2 weeks for a rabies shot. I am a big boy already at 3 1/2 months! I also found out that I have testosterone - you can only imagine what that means...mommy doesn't think it is funny - but daddy sure does.

Curiosity Killed the Cat (not the Dog - thankfully!)
Another busy week, but one filled with lots of puppy curiosities! Mommy didn't get a lot of time to help me get the update out (We are sorry! See I really am!)
After mommy's birthday we had a few quiet days at home with not much excitement... until I got under foot at daddy's house and caused a minor accident! Daddy thought he was going to step on me so he tried to miss me and fell back into the dishwasher. There was a LOUD BOOM (as daddy hit the counter and dishwasher with all his weight) and a small cute puppy (that is me!) ran to save his life! I haven't been so scared ever; everything ended up ok until the next morning when mommy tried to open the dishwasher and the whole thing came out! OOPS! Puppy Power!
Car Rides and Camping!
Our camping trip finally arrived - mommy and daddy were very excited to go and so was I. I got to meet lots of new humans and a few doggy friends too. Before I left I got to have a nice sleepover with Kenzie though - I was gonna miss her a bunch.
Here is us getting up in the morning before the big trip. I am not as big of a grump as Kenzie or mommy in the morning.. maybe I am a morning dog? We got on the road around before noon for our camping trip. I did really well in the truck. I slept the whole way to Stoneyford (almost 3 hours!). Once we got to the campsite I got to do a little exploring. I got a nice new collar (my first one) for this trip and this black long thing that mommy and daddy try to pull me around on; which I don't like so I don't go. I just sit there while they yank on the thing. I think I heard them say I am stubborn. I don't think so; I just have my own way of doing things! All of our friends started rolling in later and I got lots of attention. I also met Zowie - check her out with my updated pictures.. She is quite the cutie - I tried to share her bed and she wasn't too happy with me.. hmm guess sleeping together on the first day is out of the picture for her. I will have to try again the next trip.

I played in the bushes and ate lots of twigs and sticks. Which made for a pooped puppy. I had a great time and the car rides were lots of fun.

Friday the 13th
This was a great day! I got to sleep in the people bed - since it was mommy's birthday!
I enjoyed that. Unfortunately, the day wasn't too eventful for me. I spend most of the day in my kennel because daddy took mommy shopping. I did get to go with them later in the night! Jac and daddy came and got me so I could go meet Leon and Fritz. I got to play with them at their house for awhile. I learned what it meant to NOT be the leader. Leon taught me some stuff! We had a great time and I was super tired when I got home and slept through the night.

It's Been a Few Days
The Doggy Doctor
Sorry I haven't been able to post any updates in the last couple days. We have been very busy since I went to the doggy doctor. The visit went well. I got weighed and got a shot. I now weigh 13.5 lbs. That is 2 lbs more than my first visit a week ago. I am getting so big so fast. We also found out that most likely I have an allergy to grass. Can you believe that? A puppy allergic to grass! I got a very bad rash on my tummy. Big red bumps. When I came to daddy's house the bumps would get better and almost go away. Then when we go back to mommy's house I get to go outside and play in the grass and the bumps are back! So the doggy doctor said that is more than likely an allergy to grass and that I can have benedryl but only a 1/2 of one.
Thursday
Thursday I got to stay home with Papa David, Tyler and Kenzie while mommy and daddy went to work. I had a great day! We played outside a whole bunch. I like to chew on pant legs; but get in trouble for it... When Papa David took the kids to the park I had to go in my kennel; Kenzie gets very upset when I go in there. She almost cries as much as me, but thankfully we both get over it quickly. After work mommy got home and we all got to go outside together to color our Easter eggs. Daddy went to hang out with his friends at SOL. I like to roll around in the grass and chase the soccer ball. Tyler got to go home with Papa David and Grandma Corky so I got to play with Kenzie and mommy. Kenzie likes to give me lots of hugs until I start to get too excited and nip too hard. Then we have to say good night. We both get to sleep in mommy's room. Me in my kennel and Kenzie with mommy.
Friday
Friday I stayed home with mommy for a while; but I wasn't a very good puppy so mommy couldn't focus really well. So she took me to daddy's house for daddy to watch me. I like hanging out with daddy. We play fetch. Later on Friday I got to go out for my first time to SOL - the local pup. Daddy wanted to show me off to his friends.. Oh and he says I am a 'bitch magnet' so we tried it out. It works... I had lots of pretty girls hugging and kissing on me. Luckily, mommy knows that daddy isn't going anywhere. I almost forgot that I also got a bath today. Mommy said I was stinky and needed a bath so I was clean and smelled good for my outing!
A Very Lazy Day
Today was a very lazy day. I have been sleeping well in my kennel at night and only getting up 1 or 2x a night. Today I got the treat of taking a nap with mommy in the big tall bed. It was so cozy and comfy. Daddy came in to nap too; but he couldn’t sleep because I was snoring too loud. Mommy is used to snoring so it doesn’t bother her (daddy snores too!)
Also, I am getting better about being able to go potty outside when I have to go. I haven’t had too many accidents lately. Sometimes I forget like when I am playing a lot and then I can’t make it outside. Whoops! Tomorrow is Easter; I get to see Tyler and Kenzie again! Wahoo! Apparently, a bunny hides the eggs that were colored and we get to find them. That should be fun. Daddy is coming over too; after the F1 Race to cook ham for everyone. I can’t have any people food; but I smell daddy’s cooking all the time and it makes me hungry I wish I could eat it! Well I am pretty doggone tired so I am going to lay down next to mommy on the futon
